Clay Lyon, CR recently attended the annual strategic planning meeting with 30 fellow board members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). The meeting focused on strategies for dealing with current economic situations and short and long-term strategies for evolving the National Kitchen and Bath Industry Show and Conference (KBIS). The 2009 KBIS is held in Atlanta April 30 - May 2. It is an important opportunity for the organization's 42,000 members to gather, network and catch up on the important trends affecting the industry. Clay was admitted to the CEO Coaching & More program at UMKC. The one-year program is designed for entrepreneurial CEOs who run high-potential, growth-oriented companies. Benefits include a professional coach and membership in CEO to CEO Forum, a program operated under the aegis of the Kauffman Foundation. Clay is organizing an ASID-Industry Partner celebration to be held April 3 at Dorfman Plumbing in conjunction with First Friday. |
